The Goods

Every week when I sit down to write for The Goods, I find myself saying that summer is flying by. I wish it would slow down. Summer time in Park City is gorgeous. There is a saying around town that people come for the winter by stay for the summer. If you’ve ever lived in a ski town, you know what I’m talking about. We’re having a blast not following any kind of routine and spending the majority of our time outdoors with friends. Hiking, swimming, paddle boarding, riding our bikes and hitting the trails. It’s an outdoor lovers playground and each night we lay our heads tired and hearts full. I’ve kept the cooking at a minimal as it’s just too hot. Our grill has been getting it’s fair share of use and we’re eating a ton of fresh salads. Hope everyone is enjoying their summer as well!

Can’t get enough salads right now. Spinach and radishes from my garden!

I’m drooling over this soup.

If you have surplus of radishes like I do, try this recipe. If only because it’s so gorgeous.

Or try this salad. Equally as gorgeous + it has crispy prosciutto and that makes it a total win.

The quintessential summer dessert but better.

My garden is starting to really go off!

In doing “research” for my giveaway for an Uncommon Goods gift certificate, I found this. And these. Even though it’s July, I’m putting them on my Christmas list- it’s never too early to start!

I am just finishing this book. All I want to do is go to Ireland now.

For every parent that has ever flow with kids: this one is for you.

Good friends that send cookies and your favorite tea in the mail are the best!

Speechless. (And excuse me while I wipe the drool off my chin.)

My favorite Facebook “likes” as of late: Real Simple, The Food Babe, and Brene Brown

Soothe your sun kissed skin and take care of blemishes au natural. #essentialoils

You gonna eat that?

And this week’s #weeklychubbs is her being her naughty self begging for food. And a little plumbers crack to go with.

Have a great day, everyone and be sure to come back Saturday for a recipe that invokes brown butter AND vanilla bean. I’m already swooning….
