4th-of-july-chocolate-covered-marshmallows

Admittedly not much of a recipe, I just can’t resist dipping marshmallows into chocolate.

Whether dipped in crushed candy canes or 4th of July inspired sprinkles, I’m a sucker for fluffy white sugar on a stick,

My four year old and I made these yesterday to take to a neighbors house for a potluck bbq we went to last night.

They were a HUGE hit with the kids and the adults. Honestly, I could have made a bunch more and they all would have been eaten. Partly due to the fact that my 18 month old not only ate his but then followed other kids around waiting for them to slip up and set theirs down. He would swoop in like a trained marshmallow hunter and walk away before the poor kid knew what hit him.

That’s my boy alright……………..

If you need a last minute treat for your 4th of July festivities tonight, look no further. They are silly easy and you don’t have to turn the oven or stove on. Hooray!

Happy 4th to you and yours!

  1. These are just SO pretty – I don’t mind that they’re not a real ‘recipe.’ :)

  2. I can see why these were such a hit – adorable! Cute story about your little guy – it sounds like he’s got a good radar for unattended sweets.
